Indications

Zyrtec Ped Drops is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in children, such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose and throat, as well as itching and urticaria associated with atopic dermatitis. Cetirizine, its active ingredient, acts by blocking histamine receptors, thus reducing the effects of allergies. Its use is recommended for the symptomatic relief of hay fever and other allergic conditions.

Composition

Each ml of Zyrtec Ped Drops contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride and excipients q.s.p. 1 ml.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cetirizine or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency, as well as in those with rare hereditary diseases that may make the patient intolerant to galactose.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with moderate renal insufficiency and in those with severe liver conditions. The use of Zyrtec Ped Drops may cause drowsiness, so it is recommended to avoid activities that require a high level of attention, such as driving or operating heavy machinery, especially at the beginning of treatment or when increasing the dose. Alcohol consumption is not recommended during treatment.

Storage

Store at temperatures below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
