Indications
Zyplo Syrup is indicated for the treatment of non-productive dry cough. Levodropropizine acts as an antitussive, relieving respiratory tract irritation and reducing the urge to cough. It is used in cases of cough associated with respiratory diseases, such as colds and bronchitis, where the cough is not accompanied by sputum production. It is important to use this medication under the supervision of a doctor, especially in patients with chronic respiratory conditions.
Composition
Each 10 ml of syrup contains: Levodropropizine 60 mg. Excipients: sorbitol, citric acid, sodium benzoate, among others.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Levodropropizine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease. Its use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended unless indicated by a doctor. It should not be combined with other medications containing antitussives unless approved by a healthcare professional.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
