Indications

Zyplo is indicated for the treatment of non-productive cough. It is used in cases where relief of dry cough is required, which may be caused by various respiratory conditions such as irritations, colds, or pharyngitis. Levodropropizine acts as a centrally acting antitussive, decreasing the frequency and intensity of coughing, which allows for an improvement in the patient's quality of life. This medication is suitable for adults and children over 2 years of age, under the supervision of a physician.

Composition

Each tablet contains: Levodropropizine 60 mg. Excipients: Lactose, corn starch, magnesium stearate, colloidal silica.

Contraindications

Zyplo is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levodropropizine or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be used in cases of productive cough, as it may hinder the elimination of secretions. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in patients with severe respiratory diseases, such as uncontrolled bronchial asthma.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those with a history of chronic respiratory diseases. The recommended dose should not be exceeded, and it should be used under strict medical supervision in pregnant or breastfeeding women. If the cough persists for more than 7 days or fever occurs, a doctor should be consulted.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
