Indications

Zuclodox (Doxorubicin) is indicated in the treatment of various malignant neoplasms, including but not limited to:

  • Breast cancer
  • Acute lymphoblastic leukemia
  • Lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
  • Ovarian cancer
  • Small cell lung cancer
  • Bladder carcinoma

Doxorubicin acts by interfering with DNA synthesis, which prevents cell proliferation. The use of this medication must be supervised by a medical oncologist due to its adverse effects and the need for adequate monitoring during treatment.

Composition

Each ampoule of Zuclodox contains:

  • Doxorubicin (as hydrochloride) 50 mg
  • Excipients: water for injection, sodium chloride and other inactive excipients.

Contraindications

Zuclodox is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Known hypersensitivity to doxorubicin or any component of the formulation.
  • Uncontrolled active infections.
  • Congestive heart failure or history of heart disease related to anthracycline use.
  • Pregnancy and lactation, unless the benefits outweigh the potential risks.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Zuclodox in patients with:

  • Hepatic or renal dysfunction.
  • Pre-existing heart conditions.
  • Active infections or history of severe infections.

Regular monitoring of hematological function, as well as cardiac function, is essential during treatment.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15-30 °C) in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
