Indications
Zolmitriptan is indicated for the acute treatment of migraine. This medication acts as a selective agonist of serotonin 5-HT1B and 5-HT1D receptors, which helps relieve pain and other symptoms associated with migraine, such as nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. It is important to start treatment at the onset of a migraine attack to achieve the best results. Its use for migraine prevention is not recommended.
Composition
Each tablet contains 2.5 mg of Zolmitriptan as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to zolmitriptan or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be used in patients with cardiovascular disease, including myocardial infarction or angina pectoris, or in those with uncontrolled hypertension. Its use in patients with a history of cerebrovascular accident or peripheral vascular diseases is also contraindicated.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular risk factors, as well as in those suffering from liver or kidney diseases. It is advisable to monitor blood pressure in patients using this medication. The use of zolmitriptan in combination with other anti-migraine treatments without medical supervision is not recommended.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
