Indications
Zentel Suspension is indicated for the treatment of helminth (worm) infections and some protozoan infections. It is effective in the treatment of ascariasis, enterobiasis, trichuriasis, and hookworm, as well as neurocysticercosis and giardiasis. Its use is recommended in patients diagnosed with these conditions, following the guidelines established by a healthcare professional. The medication works by interfering with the metabolism of the parasites, leading to their death and elimination from the patient's body.
Composition
Each 10 ml of Zentel Suspension contains 400 mg of albendazole as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its administration and preservation.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to albendazole or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or hematological diseases. Adequate medical monitoring is advised during treatment to assess the response to the medication and detect possible adverse effects. Additionally, prolonged use of the medication without medical supervision should be avoided.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
