Indications
Zentel Dual Pediatric is indicated for the treatment of helminth (worm) and protozoal infections. It is effective in the management of infections caused by Enterobius vermicularis (pinworms), Ascaris lumbricoides (roundworm), Trichuris trichiura (whipworm), and Giardia lamblia (giardiasis). This medication can be used in children, adhering to the doses recommended by a physician. The combination of Albendazole and Quinfamide provides a synergistic effect that improves the efficacy of antiparasitic treatment, helping to eliminate parasites from the intestine.
Composition
Each 10 ml of suspension contains 400 mg of Albendazole and 100 mg of Quinfamide.
Contraindications
Zentel Dual Pediatric is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in children under two years of age, nor in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless indicated by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases. Medical monitoring is recommended during treatment, especially in children. Additionally, the physician should be informed if the patient has a history of allergic reactions to antiparasitic medications.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place. Keep the product out of reach of children. Do not use the medication after the expiration date indicated on the package.
