Indications
Zapex is indicated for the treatment of major depressive episodes in adults. It can also be used in the treatment of anxiety disorders, as well as in patients experiencing insomnia associated with depression. Mirtazapine works by increasing the release of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and noradrenaline, which contributes to improving mood and sleep quality.
Composition
Each Zapex tablet contains 30 mg of mirtazapine as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and other additives that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Zapex is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to mirtazapine or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of serotonin syndrome, nor to those who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) due to the risk of severe adverse reactions.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizure disorders, liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those at risk of suicide. It is important for patients to inform their doctor about any medications they are taking to avoid interactions. Close medical monitoring is recommended during treatment, especially at the beginning of therapy or when dosage adjustments are made.
Storage
Keep the medication in its original packaging, protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
