Indications

Zanidip is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. Its main action is based on the dilation of blood vessels, which helps to reduce blood pressure. This medication can be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensives to achieve optimal blood pressure control.

The use of Lercanidipine is indicated in patients whose hypertension has not been controlled with other therapies. Continuous medical monitoring is important to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment and make adjustments as needed.

Composition

Each Zanidip tablet contains 20 mg of Lercanidipine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and efficacy.

Contraindications

Zanidip is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Lercanidipine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with unstable angina, recent myocardial infarction, or severe heart failure.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, liver or kidney failure. During treatment, blood pressure monitoring is recommended to avoid episodes of hypotension. It is essential that the patient informs their doctor about any additional medications they are taking to avoid interactions.
