Indications

Zaditen Syrup is indicated for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as for the relief of symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. It can also be used in the management of some asthmatic conditions and in the prevention of asthma attacks. Its antihistamine action helps reduce inflammation and bronchial hyperreactivity, improving the quality of life of patients suffering from these allergic conditions. This medication may be useful in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to other antihistamines, as well as in those who require prolonged treatment for the control of allergic symptoms.

Composition

Each 5 ml of Zaditen Syrup contains: 1 mg of Ketotifen as an active ingredient, as well as excipients such as glycerol, potassium sorbate, among others.

Contraindications

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ketotifen or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver diseases or in those with a history of uncontrolled seizures.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of obstructive pulmonary diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may cause sedation. Patients who experience adverse symptoms during treatment with this medication should be monitored, especially children and the elderly.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature (between 15 and 30 °C). Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
