Indications
Xumer (Etoricoxib) is indicated for the treatment of acute pain, as well as for the management of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. This medication works by selectively inhibiting the COX-2 enzyme, which reduces the production of prostaglandins, responsible for inflammation and pain. It is also used in the treatment of postoperative pain and in acute painful conditions, providing effective and rapid relief.
Composition
Each Xumer tablet contains 90 mg of Etoricoxib as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
The use of Xumer is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Furthermore, it is contraindicated in patients with severe heart failure, active liver disease, or those with active peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, renal or hepatic insufficiency. The medication should be used with caution in the elderly and in those undergoing treatment with other medications that may increase the risk of adverse effects. Renal and cardiovascular function should be monitored during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
