Indications
Xeomeen is indicated for the treatment of various medical conditions related to muscle hyperactivity. Its primary use is in the management of focal dystonias, such as blepharospasm and spasticity in the limbs, as well as for the treatment of facial expression lines. Botulinum toxin acts by blocking the release of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction, which leads to a temporary decrease in muscle activity. Additionally, it has been used in the treatment of chronic migraine and in cases of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
Composition
Each ampule contains botulinum toxin type A, along with excipients that facilitate its stability and efficacy.
Contraindications
Xeomeen is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should also be avoided in patients with infections at the injection site and in those with neuromuscular diseases such as Lambert-Eaton syndrome or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with bleeding disorders or who are on anticoagulant therapy, as this could increase the risk of hematoma at the injection site. Likewise, the patient's general condition should be carefully evaluated before administration, especially in those with a history of respiratory diseases or muscle weakness. It is important that the treatment be carried out by a qualified healthcare professional.
Storage
Xeomeen should be stored in refrigeration at a temperature of 2 to 8 °C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children and use before the expiration date indicated on the package.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
