Indications
Xenerex (Paroxetine) is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and social phobias. It can also be used in the management of panic disorders and disorders related to the menstrual cycle, such as premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Paroxetine acts as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), helping to improve mood and reduce anxiety in patients suffering from these conditions.
Composition
Each Xenerex tablet contains 20 mg of paroxetine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medicine.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to paroxetine or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in those with a history of mania or manic episodes.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Xenerex to patients with a history of seizure disorders, liver disease, or kidney disease. Likewise, it is important to monitor patients for the possible appearance of adverse effects, especially at the beginning of treatment or when adjusting the dose. Use in pregnant or breastfeeding women is not recommended without proper medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
