Indications

Xeltetra is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by organisms susceptible to minocycline. It is used in the treatment of upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and some genitourinary system infections. It may also be indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe acne, as well as for the prophylaxis of infections in specific surgical procedures. It is important that the use of this medication be under the supervision of a physician to ensure its effectiveness and safety.

Composition

Each capsule contains 100 mg of minocycline, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation.

Contraindications

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to minocycline or to any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless indicated by a doctor, due to possible adverse effects on the fetus or infant.

Precautions

Special care should be taken when using Xeltetra in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as minocycline is metabolized and excreted through the liver and kidneys. It is important to inform the doctor about any medication the patient is taking, as well as any pre-existing medical conditions.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
