Indications
Wegovy (Semaglutide) is indicated as an adjunct to a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity for weight management in adults with obesity (body mass index [BMI] ≥ 30 kg/m²) or overweight (BMI ≥ 27 kg/m²) who have at least one weight-related comorbidity (e.g., hypertension, type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia). This medication acts as a GLP-1 receptor agonist, promoting satiety, decreasing appetite, and reducing food intake. Its use must be supervised by a physician and accompanied by a comprehensive weight management program.
Composition
Each Wegovy pre-filled pen contains Semaglutide as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that ensure the product's stability and efficacy. It is important to read the leaflet to know all the components.
Contraindications
Wegovy is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Semaglutide or any of the excipients. It should not be used in patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 syndrome (MEN 2). It is also contraindicated in patients with type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of pancreatitis, kidney disease, or those taking other medications that may affect glycemic control. Regular medical follow-up is essential to assess treatment response and adjust the dose if necessary.
Storage
Wegovy should be stored in a refrigerator between 2 °C and 8 °C. Do not freeze. The pre-filled pen can be used for up to 28 days at room temperature (not above 30 °C) after being removed from the refrigerator.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
