Indications

Vyzulta is indicated for the treatment of ocular hypertension in patients with open-angle glaucoma and those with intraocular hypertension. Its mechanism of action is based on reducing intraocular pressure by improving the drainage of aqueous humor, which contributes to the prevention of optic damage in patients with these conditions. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions to ensure proper and effective use of the medication.

Composition

Each mL of Vyzulta contains 0.024% Latanoprostene Bunod, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Vyzulta is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Latanoprostene Bunod or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless the benefits outweigh the potential risks. It should also be avoided in patients with active ocular inflammation or ocular infections.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of uveitis or inflammatory eye diseases. Visual function should be evaluated periodically. It should not be used in combination with other prostaglandin analogs without proper medical supervision. It is essential to follow dosage instructions and not exceed the recommended amount.

Storage

Store the product in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children. Once opened, it is recommended to use the product within a specific period according to the manufacturer's instructions.
