Indications
Vontrol is indicated for the treatment of nausea and vomiting of various etiologies, including those associated with the treatment of diseases in which these symptoms occur. It is used in the management of postoperative nausea and vomiting, as well as in cases of motion sickness. It may also be useful in the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting induced by oncological treatments and radiotherapy. Difenidol should be administered according to the treating physician's recommendations, based on each patient's clinical conditions.
Composition
Each Vontrol tablet contains 25 mg of Difenidol and excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Vontrol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Difenidol or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of intestinal obstruction and in those with conditions that may increase the risk of adverse effects related to the medication.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Vontrol to patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, as it may affect cardiac function. Additionally, the risk of sedation should be assessed and patients performing activities requiring attention and concentration should be monitored. Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under proper medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
