Indications
Voltaren Patch 30 mg is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain associated with various conditions, such as sprains, strains, arthritis, and muscle aches. Its formulation allows for continuous release of diclofenac into the affected area, providing a localized anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, which helps to reduce discomfort and improve patient mobility. This product is particularly useful for patients requiring long-term pain management, as well as those who experience intolerance to oral administration of anti-inflammatory drugs.
Composition
Each patch contains 30 mg of diclofenac as the active ingredient, along with excipients that facilitate the release and absorption of the medication through the skin.
Contraindications
Voltaren Patch should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any of the formulation's components. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of asthma, urticaria, or allergic reactions after administration of acetylsalicylic acid or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Its use is not recommended in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular, hepatic, or renal diseases. Prolonged use of the patch may lead to local adverse reactions, so it is recommended to avoid applying it to damaged skin or areas with infections. It should not be applied to open wounds or mucous membranes.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
