Indications

Voltaren Emulgel is indicated for the local treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions, including:

  • Osteoarthritic and rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Acute and chronic muscle and joint pain.
  • Sports injuries.
  • Sprains and strains.
  • Postoperative pain in orthopedic procedures.

The gel is applied topically to the affected area, providing localized pain and inflammation relief. Its use should be accompanied by non-pharmacological measures, such as physical therapy and exercise, for better patient recovery.

Composition

Each 100 g of Voltaren Emulgel contains:

  • Diclofenac sodium: 2.32 g
  • Excipients: purified water, ethyl alcohol, propylene glycol, carbomer, triethanolamine, among others.

Contraindications

Voltaren Emulgel is contraindicated in:

  • Patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any other component of the product.
  • Patients who have experienced allergic reactions to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
  • Open lesions or infected wounds in the application area.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of asthma, allergic rhinitis, or urticaria, as well as in those with cardiovascular, hepatic, or renal diseases. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to extensive areas of the skin.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
