Indications
Vitamin D3 10000 IU is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiencies, which can result in disorders such as rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults. Additionally, it is used to improve calcium and phosphorus absorption, thereby contributing to bone health. It may also be beneficial in supporting the immune system and regulating the inflammatory response. It is especially useful for people with little sun exposure, the elderly, and those with conditions affecting fat absorption.
Composition
Each capsule contains: 10,000 IU of Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), excipients: gelatin, glycerin, purified water.
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in patients with hypercalcemia or hypervitaminosis D. Its use is recommended to be avoided in people with kidney diseases or who are receiving treatment with thiazide diuretics, without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases, as well as in those who are undergoing treatment with medications that may interact with vitamin D, such as certain anticonvulsants. Regular medical monitoring is recommended for people taking high doses of vitamin D for prolonged periods.
