Indications
Vitacilina Ointment is indicated for the treatment of superficial skin infections caused by bacteria sensitive to neomycin. It is used in the management of dermal lesions, such as burns, cuts, and wounds, where an antibiotic agent is required to prevent or treat infections. In addition, the retinol present in the formulation helps improve skin regeneration and promote healing, being useful in cases of dermatitis and other dermal conditions that require care and protection. It is recommended to use the product under appropriate medical supervision, especially in cases of complicated dermatological conditions.
Composition
Each 100 g of Vitacilina Ointment contains: Neomycin 0.5 g and Retinol (Vitamin A) 0.1 g, plus excipients in sufficient quantity to complete 100 g.
Contraindications
Vitacilina is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to neomycin, retinol or any of the components of the formula. It should not be applied to extensive areas of injured or burned skin, as this may increase the systemic absorption of the active components and the risk of adverse reactions. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with a history of allergic reactions to aminoglycoside antibiotics.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Vitacilina in patients with kidney disease or those receiving other antibiotics, due to the risk of toxicity. Its use in the eye area or on mucous membranes is not recommended. In case of irritation or adverse reactions, its use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
