Indications

Vitacilina Ointment is indicated for the treatment of bacterial skin infections, as well as for the prevention of infections in wounds and burns. It is especially useful in the management of skin lesions at risk of infection. Furthermore, the retinol present in its formulation contributes to cell regeneration and improves the appearance of affected skin. Its use is recommended in cases of dermatitis, impetigo, and other skin conditions susceptible to the action of topical antibiotics.

Composition

Each 100 g of Vitacilina Ointment contains: Neomycin 0.5 g, Retinol (vitamin A) 0.05 g, excipients q.s.p. 100 g.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to neomycin, retinol, or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended for viral or fungal skin infections, or for the treatment of third-degree burns.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Vitacilina Ointment in patients with a history of allergies or dermatitis. Do not apply to deep wounds or extensive burns. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of irritation or allergic reaction, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
