Indications
Virlix is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, rhinorrhea (runny nose), nasal and ocular pruritus (itching). Additionally, it is used to relieve the symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria, characterized by the appearance of hives and itching on the skin. Cetirizine acts as a histamine H1 receptor antagonist, which helps to decrease the body's allergic response.
Composition
Each Virlix tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Virlix is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cetirizine or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency and in those who experience adverse reactions to other antihistamines.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, as well as in those with liver or kidney disease. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment, as it may enhance the sedative effects of the medication. Patients should also be informed that they may experience drowsiness, so it is advisable not to perform activities that require mental alertness, such as driving or operating heavy machinery, until they know how the medication affects them.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
