Indications

Victan (Ethyl Loflazepate) is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders and depressive disorders. This medication acts as an anxiolytic, helping to reduce symptoms of anxiety and tension in patients diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, as well as during acute anxiety episodes. Additionally, it is used in the management of symptoms related to mood disorders, contributing to an improved quality of life for patients suffering from these conditions. Its use must be supervised by a physician, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment according to the individual characteristics of each patient.

Composition

Each Victan tablet contains 2 mg of Ethyl Loflazepate and the necessary excipients for its formulation.

Contraindications

Victan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ethyl Loflazepate or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of severe hepatic insufficiency, myasthenia gravis, or in patients who are receiving treatment with other medications that may cause central nervous system depression, without proper medical supervision.

Precautions

It is important that the patient informs their physician about any pre-existing medical conditions, especially respiratory, hepatic, or renal disorders. Caution should be exercised in elderly patients and those receiving other medications that affect the central nervous system. Additionally, prolonged use can lead to dependence and tolerance; therefore, abrupt discontinuation of treatment is not recommended.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
