Indications
Vick Vitapyrena is indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with the common cold and flu, such as fever, headache, nasal congestion, and general discomfort. Thanks to its formulation which combines Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic, with Phenylephrine, a decongestant, this product helps reduce fever and relieve pain, as well as decongest the respiratory tract. In addition, the inclusion of Chamomile extract provides a calming effect that can help improve overall well-being during the recovery process.
Composition
Each Vick Vitapyrena sachet contains: 500 mg of Paracetamol and 10 mg of Phenylephrine, in addition to suitable excipients for the formulation. The 5 g presentation includes Chamomile extract, which contributes to its beneficial properties.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to people with severe liver disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or those taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) within the last 14 days. It is also contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation without proper medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, or those who consume excessive alcohol. It is advised not to exceed the recommended dose and to consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 3 days. This medication may cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery after use.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
