Indications
Vick Pyrena is a medication indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with colds and flu, such as fever, headaches, nasal congestion, and general malaise. Its formulation combines paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic, with phenylephrine, a decongestant that helps reduce inflammation and congestion in the respiratory tract. This product is useful in the symptomatic treatment of fever and pain, providing temporary relief and improving the patient's quality of life during episodes of cold or flu.
Composition
Each sachet of Vick Pyrena contains: 500 mg of paracetamol and 10 mg of phenylephrine, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Vick Pyrena is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with severe liver diseases or a history of severe allergic reactions.
