Indications
Vick Pyrena Noche is a medication indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with colds and allergies, which may include fever, nasal congestion, sneezing, and cough. Its formulation combines three active components: paracetamol, which acts as an analgesic and antipyretic; phenylephrine, a decongestant that helps reduce inflammation and congestion in the respiratory tract; and diphenhydramine, an antihistamine that provides relief from allergic symptoms and also helps induce sleep, making it especially useful for nighttime use.
Composition
Each sachet contains: 650 mg Paracetamol, 10 mg Phenylephrine, and 25 mg Diphenhydramine.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in individuals suffering from severe liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those undergoing treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and in people with narrow-angle glaucoma.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, or thyroid problems. Likewise, concomitant use with other products containing paracetamol should be avoided to prevent overdose. It should not be used in combination with alcohol, as it may increase the risk of liver damage.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
