Vick Drops Lozenges are indicated for the temporary relief of cough, sore throat, and nasal congestion. These lozenges act as a cough suppressant and decongestant, providing a soothing effect on an irritated throat, in addition to facilitating breathing by reducing congestion. They are especially useful in cases of colds and flu, as well as in cases of irritation of the upper respiratory tract.
Composition
Each Vick Drops lozenge contains: Menthol (1.0 g), Eucalyptol (0.2 g) and excipients necessary for the formulation. The combination of these ingredients offers a synergistic effect that helps relieve respiratory symptoms.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in children under 6 years of age, nor in patients with severe respiratory diseases or heart problems without adequate supervision from a healthcare professional.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of chronic respiratory diseases, asthma, or allergies. The recommended dose should not be exceeded, and its simultaneous use with other medicines containing similar active ingredients should be avoided. If symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature no higher than 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
