Indications
Vextor (Venlafaxine) is indicated for the treatment of major depression, generalized anxiety disorder, and social anxiety disorder. This medication acts on neurotransmitters in the brain, helping to improve mood and reduce anxiety. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a healthcare professional, who can determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment. In addition, Venlafaxine may be useful in the treatment of panic disorder and in some cases of neuropathic pain. It is recommended to start treatment with low doses and adjust them gradually to minimize adverse effects.
Composition
Each capsule contains 37.5 mg of Venlafaxine hydrochloride.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Venlafaxine or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) due to the risk of severe adverse reactions.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in its use in patients with a history of seizure disorders, uncontrolled hypertension, heart disease, or a history of mania or hypomania. Regular blood pressure monitoring is essential during treatment. If symptoms of worsening depression or suicidal thoughts occur, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
