Indications

Vesicare (Solifenacin) is indicated for the treatment of urgency urinary incontinence and increased urinary frequency in patients with overactive bladder. This medication works by blocking muscarinic receptors in the bladder, which helps reduce involuntary contractions and increase urine storage capacity. It is useful in cases where the patient presents symptoms of urinary urgency, incontinence, and increased frequency of urination, thereby improving the patient's quality of life.

Composition

Each Vesicare tablet contains 5 mg of Solifenacin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.

Contraindications

Vesicare is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Solifenacin or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to individuals with urinary retention, narrow-angle glaucoma, or myasthenia gravis. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in individuals with severe renal insufficiency or severe hepatic insufficiency.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with gastrointestinal problems such as intestinal obstruction or ulcerative colitis. It is also recommended to evaluate use in elderly patients or those with a history of cardiovascular problems. It is important to conduct medical monitoring if the patient experiences adverse effects or unusual symptoms during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
