Indications

Vermox Plus Ped Suspension is indicated for the treatment of intestinal infections caused by helminths sensitive to its components, including the following:

• Ascariasis
• Enterobiasis
• Trichuriasis
• Strongyloidiasis
• Taeniasis

This medication works by interfering with the metabolism of parasites, leading to their death and elimination from the body. It is especially useful in children due to its suspension formulation, which facilitates administration.

Composition

Each 10 ml of suspension contains:

• Mebendazole: 60 mg
• Quinfamide: 10 mg

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with severe liver diseases. Its use is not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders or those receiving concomitant treatments that may affect the absorption or metabolism of the medication. It is important to monitor liver function during treatment. Use during lactation is not recommended without consulting a physician.
