Indications
Vermox Plus is indicated for the treatment of helminth infections, including ascariasis, enterobiasis, trichuriasis, and hookworm. Its combination of Mebendazole and Quinfamide provides a broad spectrum of action against various intestinal parasites. This medication is effective in eliminating intestinal worms and is also used in cases of mixed infections. Administration of Vermox Plus is recommended under the supervision of a physician, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment based on the severity of the infection and the patient's characteristics.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Mebendazole 300 mg and Quinfamide 150 mg. Excipients: lactose monohydrate, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Vermox Plus is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use should also be avoided in individuals with severe liver disease or those with a history of adverse reactions to antiparasitic medications. Its use is not recommended in children under 2 years of age without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with severe gastrointestinal disorders and in those receiving other medical treatments, as interactions may occur. Medical follow-up is essential during treatment to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of the medication. In case of experiencing adverse effects, a healthcare professional should be consulted immediately.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
