Indications
Vermox is indicated for the treatment of intestinal infections caused by helminths (worms) such as ascariasis, enterobiasis (pinworms), trichuriasis (whipworms), hookworm infection, and strongyloidiasis. Mebendazole acts by inhibiting glycogen synthesis in parasites, which leads to their death. Additionally, it can be used for infections by other helminths, under medical supervision. This medication is effective in treating infections caused by nematodes and certain cestodes, contributing to the elimination of these organisms from the gastrointestinal tract.
Composition
Each Vermox tablet contains 100 mg of Mebendazole as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Vermox is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Mebendazole or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should also be avoided in cases of severe liver disease or in patients who are taking other antiparasitic medications without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with pre-existing gastrointestinal diseases and in those who are taking other medications that may interact with Mebendazole. It is important to have medical follow-up during treatment to assess effectiveness and detect possible adverse effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
