Indications
Velian is indicated for the treatment of acute pain of mild to moderate intensity. It is effective in the management of postoperative pain, musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and other types of pain requiring analgesic intervention. Its use is recommended in patients who need rapid pain relief, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action. Intravenous administration allows for a faster onset of action compared to other forms of presentation.
Composition
Each Velian ampoule contains: Dexketoprofen trometamol 50 mg in 2 ml of injectable solution.
Contraindications
Velian is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to dexketoprofen or any other component of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, severe heart failure, as well as during the third trimester of pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Velian to patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders, asthma, liver or kidney diseases, and those taking anticoagulants. Renal function monitoring is recommended in patients receiving prolonged treatment. Its use in combination with other NSAIDs is not recommended.
Storage
Store at room temperature (15-30 °C) in a dry place, protected from light. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
