Indications
Vartalon is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis, a degenerative disease that affects the joints. Glucosamine sulfate is a compound naturally found in the body and is essential for the formation of cartilage, which acts as a shock absorber in the joints. This medication can help reduce joint pain and improve mobility in people suffering from osteoarthritis. In addition, it has been used in some cases to relieve symptoms in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and other joint disorders. Composition
Each Vartalon capsule contains 500 mg of glucosamine sulfate. Excipients are: gelatin, glycerin, and purified water.
Contraindications
Vartalon is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people with shellfish allergies, as glucosamine sulfate may be derived from them. Caution should also be exercised in patients with diabetes mellitus, as it may influence blood glucose levels.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Vartalon in patients with a history of bleeding disorders, and in those undergoing anticoagulant treatment. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions and monitor for any adverse symptoms that may arise during treatment.
