Indications

Valmetrol-3 is a nutritional supplement indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiencies, specifically in risk situations such as osteoporosis, rickets, and other bone metabolic disorders. It is used in patients with increased vitamin D needs, such as those with conditions affecting intestinal absorption, kidney diseases, or undergoing treatments that lead to decreased levels of this vitamin. It is also recommended for elderly individuals and those with limited sun exposure.

Composition

Each tablet of Valmetrol-3 contains 800 IU of Cholecalciferol, in addition to excipients that contribute to the product's formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to cholecalciferol or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of hypercalcemia or hypercalciuria, as well as in patients with diseases that alter calcium metabolism.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Valmetrol-3 to patients with cardiovascular diseases, renal insufficiency, or those taking other vitamin D supplements. Regular monitoring of calcium levels in blood and urine is important during treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from direct light.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
