Indications

Valmetrol-3 is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency, as well as for maintaining adequate calcium levels in the body. This product is especially useful in situations where an increase in calcium absorption is required, such as in osteoporosis, rickets, and osteomalacia. It is also recommended for patients with diseases affecting intestinal nutrient absorption, elderly individuals, and those following restrictive diets that can lead to nutritional deficiencies. Cholecalciferol, its active component, helps promote bone and dental health, contributing to bone mineralization and strengthening.

Composition

Each Valmetrol-3 tablet contains 1600 IU of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) as the active ingredient. It also includes excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the product.

Contraindications

Valmetrol-3 is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cholecalciferol or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in cases of hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, or diseases associated with calcium hypersensitivity. Likewise, caution should be exercised in patients with kidney disease or those being treated with other vitamin D supplements.

Precautions

Regular medical monitoring is recommended during the use of Valmetrol-3, especially in patients with pre-existing conditions such as heart, kidney, or metabolic diseases. It is essential to avoid self-medication and follow the healthcare professional's instructions. Prolonged use of this medication should be supervised to avoid toxicity from vitamin D accumulation.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
