Indications
Ursofalk is indicated for the treatment of liver diseases, including cholestasis and primary biliary cirrhosis. Its use is recommended in cases of cholelithiasis containing cholesterol stones, as well as in reducing intestinal cholesterol absorption. It is also used in the treatment of chronic active hepatitis and Wilson's disease. The action of ursodeoxycholic acid is based on its ability to dissolve cholesterol stones and improve liver function by promoting bile excretion and reducing the toxicity of bile acids. Furthermore, it has been observed to have positive effects on lipid metabolism and can contribute to the stability of cell membranes in the liver.
Composition
Each Ursofalk capsule contains 250 mg of ursodeoxycholic acid as the active ingredient. Excipients: gelatin, glycerol, titanium dioxide, among others.
Contraindications
Ursofalk is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ursodeoxycholic acid or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in cases of complete biliary obstruction, advanced liver diseases, and in patients with active pancreatitis. It is also contraindicated in patients with chronic inflammatory bowel diseases.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with a history of severe liver disease and in those with impaired renal function. It is important to monitor liver parameters during treatment and adjust the dose as necessary. Additionally, the use of Ursofalk during pregnancy and lactation should only be considered if the benefits outweigh the potential risks.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
