Indications
Urotrol is indicated for the treatment of urge urinary incontinence and overactive bladder in adults. Tolterodine, its active ingredient, acts as an antimuscarinic that helps reduce involuntary bladder contractions, thereby improving urination control. This medication is useful in patients who experience frequent episodes of urinary urgency and in those who require management of symptoms associated with overactive bladder, providing significant relief in their quality of life.
Composition
Each Urotrol tablet contains 2 mg of tolterodine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Urotrol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tolterodine or to any of the excipients in the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with urinary retention, narrow-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, or in those with gastrointestinal obstruction. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular problems, liver or kidney diseases, and in those taking other medications that may interact with tolterodine. It is important to monitor the response to treatment and adjust the dose if necessary. Use in elderly individuals is not recommended without appropriate evaluation.

Store in a dry, cool place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
