Indications

Uroclasio Nf is indicated for the treatment of metabolic acidosis and for the prevention of calcium oxalate kidney stone formation, as well as for the dissolution of uric acid stones. This medication helps to increase the solubility of calcium and uric acid in the urine, promoting their excretion and preventing the formation of new stones. It is also used in patients with hyperuricemia and hypocalcemia associated with kidney diseases.

Composition

Each sachet contains: Potassium Citrate 1.50 g and Citric Acid 0.25 g.

Contraindications

Uroclasio Nf is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with severe renal insufficiency, hyperkalemia, and in cases of untreated Addison's disease.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with heart conditions, as potassium can increase the risk of arrhythmias. In patients with moderate renal insufficiency, the dose should be adjusted and serum potassium levels monitored. Regular monitoring of the patient's acid-base status during treatment is important. It should not be used in combination with other potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics without proper medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
