Indications
Unokavi is indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypoprothrombinemia, which can be caused by vitamin K deficiency. It is used in situations of oral anticoagulation where reversal of anticoagulant effects is required. Additionally, it is indicated in cases of liver disease affecting the synthesis of vitamin K-dependent coagulation factors. Unokavi is also used in the prophylaxis of hemorrhages in patients with vitamin K deficiency due to malnutrition or malabsorption. It should be noted that this medication does not replace medical attention and clinical evaluation of each patient.
Composition
Each ampule contains 2 mg of phytomenadione (vitamin K1) in a volume of 0.2 ml.
Contraindications
Unokavi is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to phytomenadione or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe liver diseases that may affect coagulation and in those with coagulopathies that do not respond to vitamin K.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with coagulation disorders, in those receiving anticoagulant treatments, and in pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is important to monitor coagulation levels and the response to treatment, as well as to perform an adequate clinical evaluation before starting treatment with Unokavi.

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
