Indications
Tylex 750 mg is indicated for the treatment of various conditions requiring the reduction of pain and fever. This medication is useful in managing headaches, muscle aches, dental pain, sore throat, and fever associated with various infections. It can also be used to relieve postoperative pain and in arthritic conditions. Paracetamol acts on the central nervous system, inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, resulting in an analgesic and antipyretic effect.
Composition
Each Tylex tablet contains 750 mg of paracetamol as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that allow for the formulation of the medication in a suitable presentation for oral administration.
Contraindications
Tylex is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be used in patients with severe liver disease or in those who consume large amounts of alcohol, as this may increase the risk of liver toxicity.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Tylex to patients with liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those taking other medications containing paracetamol to avoid overdose. Dose adjustment is recommended in patients with renal insufficiency. Prolonged use of this medication without adequate medical supervision should be avoided.
Storage
Store the medication in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
