Indications
Tylenol Children's Suspension is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and pain in children. It is recommended for fever associated with viral and bacterial infections, as well as for the management of mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches, postoperative pain, and muscle pain. Its antipyretic and analgesic action helps improve the well-being of pediatric patients. It is important to use it according to the physician's instructions to ensure its efficacy and minimize risks.
Composition
Each 5 mL of suspension contains: Paracetamol 160 mg.
Contraindications
Tylenol Children's Suspension is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the excipients in the formula. It should also be avoided in cases of severe liver disease or in patients with liver failure. Its use in children under 2 years of age must be supervised by a physician.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with mild or moderate liver disease. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose, as excessive use of paracetamol can cause liver damage. A doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist or worsen after three days of treatment. It should not be combined with other medications containing paracetamol to avoid overdose.
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep the product in its original packaging and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
