Indications
Lysteda is indicated for the treatment of bleeding or conditions associated with bleeding, such as: the management of menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding) in women who wish to avoid surgical procedures, as well as in the treatment of post-surgical bleeding and bleeding associated with certain bleeding disorders. Tranexamic acid acts as an antifibrinolytic, inhibiting the premature dissolution of blood clots, which helps to reduce bleeding and the risk of anemia in affected patients. Additionally, it is indicated for the treatment of bleeding in patients with coagulation disorders, as well as in situations of acute bleeding related to trauma or surgery.
Composition
Each Lysteda tablet contains 650 mg of tranexamic acid as the active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, coagulation disorders, severe renal insufficiency, as well as in those who present hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of thromboembolic events, as well as in those with moderate renal dysfunction. Monitoring of renal function and coagulation is recommended in patients undergoing prolonged treatment. Use in pregnant or breastfeeding women is not recommended without proper medical supervision.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, in a dry place protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
