Indications
Lenzetto is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness. It is also used in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for women who have had a hysterectomy, to relieve estrogenic symptoms. Additionally, it may be indicated in cases of female hypogonadism and in osteoporosis treatments in postmenopausal women when the benefits are considered to outweigh the risks.
Composition
Each ml of Lenzetto solution contains 17 mg of estradiol. Excipients: ethanol, purified water.
Contraindications
Lenzetto is contraindicated in patients with a history of breast cancer or endometrial cancer, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, severe liver diseases, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, and in cases of hypersensitivity to estradiol or any of the product's excipients.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and in those who smoke. Regular medical follow-up is recommended to assess the need to continue treatment. The risk of thrombosis and embolism should be evaluated, especially in women over 35 years of age who smoke.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C. Keep away from light and moisture. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
