Indications
Arcoxia is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain in various pathologies. It is used for the management of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as in the treatment of postoperative pain and pain associated with musculoskeletal diseases. Etoricoxib acts by selectively inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme, thus reducing the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for inflammation and pain. This medication can be useful for patients who require pain relief without the adverse gastrointestinal effects associated with other NSAIDs.
Composition
Each Arcoxia tablet contains 90 mg of etoricoxib as an active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that allow for the correct formulation of the tablet.
Contraindications
Arcoxia is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, and in those with severe cardiovascular disease or who have had a recent myocardial infarction.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of high blood pressure, heart failure, or liver disease. Furthermore, it is recommended to monitor patients undergoing long-term treatment, especially those at risk of gastrointestinal or cardiovascular adverse effects. It should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women without appropriate medical evaluation.

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
