Indications
Apego (Quetiapine) is indicated for the treatment of psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. In patients with schizophrenia, it is used for the treatment of acute episodes of the illness and for the prevention of relapses. In the case of bipolar disorder, it is indicated for both the treatment of manic episodes and the management of depressive episodes associated with this condition. Additionally, it can be used as adjunctive treatment in episodes of major depression in adults.
Composition
Each Apego tablet contains 100 mg of Quetiapine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation.
Contraindications
Apego is not recommended for use in patients with known hypersensitivity to Quetiapine or to any of the components of the formulation. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to other antipsychotics.
Precautions
It is important to note that Apego should be administered with caution in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, seizures, liver or kidney diseases. Patients should be monitored for the possible occurrence of adverse effects, including neuroleptic malignant syndrome, changes in blood glucose levels, and significant weight gain.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
