Indications

Anuar is indicated for the treatment of disorders caused by elevated prolactin levels, including idiopathic hyperprolactinemia and Cushing's disease. It is also used in the treatment of certain types of pituitary tumors that produce prolactin, as well as in reducing milk production in women who do not wish to breastfeed. Its action is based on the agonism of dopamine D2 receptors, which decreases prolactin secretion. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions to ensure correct administration and dosage of the medication.

Composition

Each Anuar tablet contains 0.5 mg of Cabergoline as the active ingredient. Additionally, excipients such as lactose monohydrate, corn starch, and magnesium stearate, among others, are included to facilitate the formulation and administration of the medication.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cabergoline or any other component of the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with a history of heart disorders, especially those with valvular heart disease. Its use during pregnancy is not recommended, except under specific medical indication.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of psychiatric disorders, cardiovascular diseases, or who are undergoing treatment with antihypertensives. Storage
