Indications
Antredamin (Aripiprazole) is indicated for the treatment of psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia in adults and adolescents aged 15 and over. It is also used in the treatment of bipolar disorder, in manic or mixed episodes, and as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of major depression in adults. Its use is justified in patients presenting with psychotic symptoms, as well as in those requiring an adjustment in their antidepressant treatment for better disease management.
Composition
Each Antredamin tablet contains 15 mg of Aripiprazole as the active ingredient. Excipients include: microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Antredamin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Aripiprazole or to any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of neuroleptic malignant syndrome and those with severe cardiovascular diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, cardiovascular disease, or diabetes mellitus. It is also important to monitor patients for the possible appearance of adverse effects, including extrapyramidal symptoms. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
