Indications
Angiotrofin Retard is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension and angina pectoris. This medication acts as a calcium channel blocker, which allows for the relaxation of blood vessels and a reduction in the heart's workload. Its use is recommended for patients who require effective blood pressure control, as well as for those who experience episodes of chest pain related to physical exertion. Diltiazem can also be used in the management of certain cardiac arrhythmias, helping to restore a normal heart rhythm.
Composition
Each Angiotrofin Retard tablet contains 180 mg of Diltiazem as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation and stability of the medication.
Contraindications
Angiotrofin Retard is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Diltiazem or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in patients with second- or third-degree AV block, in those with uncontrolled congestive heart failure, or in cases of severe arterial hypotension.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those with a history of heart disease. It is advisable to monitor blood pressure and heart rate during treatment. Its use in combination with other antihypertensives or medications that affect cardiac function should be evaluated by a physician.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. The storage temperature should not exceed 30°C.
